The 60th Annual Conference on World Affairs was held  April 7th through the 11th on the University of Colorado campus. We worked with Tapes Again to provide audio recordings of roughly 400 individual panels.

The project required a coordinated effort between 5 individuals to setup audio recorders in rooms around campus, retrieve finished sessions, dump the audio to a computer for editing and then burn CD’s for immediate sale. MP3 downloads will be available at a later date and we will update this post when the links are available. The University recorded video for select panels and provided a master DVD for duplication.

PodCorps.org is a network of independent audio/video producers who record and publish important events and interviews anywhere in the world. We were contracted to record an audio interview with Professor Paul Campos at the University of Colorado. The objective was to come away with a high quality audio recording of Professor Campos’ answers to questions being asked during a phone conversation. The interviewer on the other end of the line was recording her audio and would later mix the two tracks in Pro Tools. The subject matter dealt with “the obesity epidemic”. We will provide more information and links to the content once it is made available.

We finished production on the first episode of Elana’s Pantry video series, which features organic, gluten-free recipes. The finished media will be available at elanaspantry.com using embed code from YouTube. The video will also be available on a handful of relevant food sites like foodtube.net as well as an iTunes compatible video podcast. Stay tuned for more from Elana’s Pantry.

Willy Porter played Front Porch House Concerts for the 3rd time in as many years on Sunday October 21st. Willy was accompanied by Dave Schoepke on percussion.

The show was recorded and the video is making its way onto the Front Porch House Concerts video page and a few tracks will be available via iTunes shortly.

Peter Himmelman returned to Front Porch House Concerts on August 15th for an evening of laughter and music. Jill Sobule rolled through Boulder, Co in June and played her second show at Front Porch House Concerts. Video from the show is now available.
