The 2008 Lyons Outdoor Games were held over the last weekend in May with stellar weather, fun events and good times for spectators and athletes.

We captured some of the sights and sounds and compiled an online video page created with Adobe Flash CS3. The videos showcase the action of the Creek Race, Dirt Jump, Ripstoke Bike Trials and Freestyle events.

The video was produced to promote the event and distribute content to a wider audience that could not physically attend the event.

We created an interactive online video series showcasing the 2008 Douglass Elementary Jog-A-Thon. The event raises money for Douglass Elementary students literacy program.

The work flow consisted of filming the event and editing 4 video segments that included a highlight of the event sponsors, converting the final videos to Flash .flv format, and finally using Adobe Flash to create the television graphic and interactive buttons that launch each video. A DVD copy was also made to show to the students prior to the end of the school year.

We returned from the 7 stage Tour de Georgia having produced and delivered over 75 videos on VeloNews TV of behind the scenes action from the race. The project and trip were successful with highlights being the start off the coast of Tybee Island, the Team Time Trial at Road Atlanta, and of course the decisive stage up Brasstown Bald.

We completed a 4-part series on gluing tubular tires to a rim for VeloNewsTV. Here are the individual links:

Cult Cross is a new 3-day spring cyclocross series in Eagle & Gypsum, CO organized by Larry Grossman. We are producing a 30-minute program that will air on the RSN television network starting in mid-April. We will also have select clips available for online viewing and a DVD is in the works.

The video above is a highlight of the March 15th race in Eagle, CO. Once we are finished with the project we will post a comprehensive description of the process and details involved in this production. Stay tuned!

We are providing video services for the Serotta Cycling Symposium in Denver on January 28th, 29th & 30th.  The purpose of the project is to document the session speakers and produce an edited version for DVD and online video, which will be for sale at a later date.

We put the finishing touches on a 30-minute program highlighting the 2007 Colorado Cyclocross State Championships. Boulder Racing put on the event in early December at Bohn Park in Lyons, Colorado. The video showcases the pro women and men’s races.

Special thanks goes out to Dave Towle for providing the voice-over narration and Brandon Dwight of Boulder Cycle Sport for the ‘cross tips segments.

The Slipstream-Chipotle powered by H30 cycling team held their team camp in Boulder, CO in mid-November. VeloNews Magazine provided complete coverage of the events, which included the official team presentation and launch at the Boulder Theatre on November 14th.

OnSight Media assisted with the media coverage and produced a number of video clips interviewing the team members as well as a highlight of the team presentation. You can view some of the videos by clicking the images below.

The team held a number of group rides during the week and local video producer Jim Hucks managed to get out and film one of these rides. We edited the piece and published it on VeloNewsTV. Click the image below to watch the clip.

Altitude Network will be broadcasting highlights from the Excel Sports CrossVegas cyclocross races that were held during the Interbike trade show in Las Vegas on September 26th. Jim Hucks produced the show, which features excellent coverage of the race including overhead boom shots of the run up.

Altitude will air the program 13 times during November and December. Click here for the schedule.
