The 2009 Colorado State Cyclocross Championships were held on December 5th at the North Area Athletic Complex in Arvada, CO.  This is the third year in a row OnSight Media has covered the event for televised broadcast.  This year we raised the bar by premiering the show on Altitude with a 6-show run.  The program will then move to Comcast CET after January 13th for a minimum of 20 additional airings.

We also put together a video documenting the 35+ Open category from the Blue Sky Velo Cup.  The race conditions were some of the best Colorado has seen this year.

We are heading to Interbike for the 3rd straight year and will be attending CrossVegas and the USA Crits finals.  Look for video coverage of the tradeshow and races on VeloNews.tv

Last year we produced a DVD that was looped at a private party for Competitor Group, Inc. Here are the individual pieces from that video highlighting cycling, cyclocross, mountain biking, and triathlon.

We produced an ad for Boulder Cycle Sport that will air each time the program is played either during the broadcast schedule or whenever it is accessed via Comcast’s Video On Demand catalog.  The concept for the ad was simple – match cycling imagery with the products and services offered by the bike shop.

Valmont Bike Park also contributed a 15-second commercial that airs twice during each program airing.  This is designed to bring additional exposure to the Valmont Bike Park project and raise some money for their cause.

Two days of UCI cyclocross racing came to Boulder on November 1st and 2nd.  Strong fields for both men and women elite races showed up at the Boulder reservoir on Saturday and again at Harlow Platts park on Sunday.

We captured the action via video for VeloNewsTV, which included race highlights of both men’s and women’s elite races both days and interviews with a variety of pro riders.   Congratulations to DBC Events for putting on a great set of events.

The second annual CrossVegas cyclocross race took place at night during the first day of Interbike on September 24th.  A 30-minute show produced by Kent Gordis Productions will be broadcast on the Altitude Sports Network starting October 25th.

Cult Cross is a new 3-day spring cyclocross series in Eagle & Gypsum, CO organized by Larry Grossman. We are producing a 30-minute program that will air on the RSN television network starting in mid-April. We will also have select clips available for online viewing and a DVD is in the works.

The video above is a highlight of the March 15th race in Eagle, CO. Once we are finished with the project we will post a comprehensive description of the process and details involved in this production. Stay tuned!
